☀️ Sun, Sea… and a Recovered Stolen Caravan! 🚓

What wasn’t meant to be a 15-hour day turned into exactly that.

Yesterday PC Gamble and PCSO Hadley headed to Ingoldmells and Chapel St Leonards on the trail of a stolen £30,000 caravan taken from Derbyshire.

A lead brought them to the coast — but with thousands of caravans, this was needle-in-a-haystack territory.

👀 On the ground, PC Gamble and PCSO Hadley carried out relentless searches, going site to site, while the @LincsPoliceRCAT  provided invaluable support from above as the “eye in the sky” with their drone.

After hours of teamwork and determination… we found it.

The caravan had been heavily tampered with:
❌   Windows changed
❌  CRiS number removed
❌  Locks replaced
❌  Hitch cut with oxy-acetylene equipment
❌  Damage from being dragged across fields

Despite attempts to disguise it, one small but crucial detail — a sticker placed by the owner — confirmed it.

Identified. Recovered! ✨

The owner was understandably relieved to get that call.

A strong result made possible through teamwork, persistence, and great collaboration between forces.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.
